The Future Builder Grant awards up to $10,000 to early-stage women entrepreneurs who are building businesses with purpose. We fund across all industries — from tech to trades, creative services to consumer goods.
Eligibility Requirements
- Women-identifying founder or co-founder
- Business operating for at least 3 months
- Based in the United States
- Annual revenue under $250,000
- Not currently enrolled in another FLOSSIE grant cycle
Application Timeline
Applications Open
Rolling — 4 cycles per year
Submit your application through the FLOSSIE portal. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis within each cycle.
Review Period
3–4 weeks
Our review committee evaluates applications based on founder story, business viability, and potential for impact.
Finalist Interviews
1 week
Shortlisted applicants are invited to a 20-minute video interview with two members of the review committee.
Award Notification
Within 5 business days
All applicants are notified of the outcome. Award recipients receive funds within 10 business days of acceptance.

Pull Up & Pitch is FLOSSIE's signature live pitch competition — a high-energy, high-stakes event where women founders step into the spotlight, share their vision, and compete for a $25,000 prize pool in front of investors, community, and press.
Who is eligible to compete?
Women-identifying founders with a business that has been operating for at least 6 months. We welcome all industries and stages.
What does the pitch format look like?
Each founder gets 5 minutes to pitch, followed by a 3-minute Q&A with our panel of judges. Pitches are delivered live in front of an audience of investors, community members, and FLOSSIE partners.
What is the prize structure?
The $25,000 prize pool is distributed across three tiers: First Place ($15,000), Second Place ($7,000), and Audience Choice ($3,000).
How do I apply?
Applications open 60 days before each event. Finalists are selected by a review committee and notified 3 weeks before the event date.
